FOTD #3

I am back with another FOTD post! Putting on makeup is the most enjoyable part of prepping for the day. Whether I’d go to office, a date with the bf, it’s just something I really enjoy. Doing posts like this actually force me to look at all my stuff and use them more regularly. You don’t want to see the same products featured in my FOTD posts, right? So these kinds of posts are very helpful in keeping track and making sure I use the makeup I have.

Base. For primer, I used Kiehl’s Microblur Skin Perfector. This does a very good  job in blurring the pores. Then, I used a mixture of Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation and MAC Strobe Cream since I don’t want my face to be too matte. Strobe cream will provide that luminous effect to my face. I used Benefit Boing concealer to conceal my spots and then used Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch (Radiant) highlighting concealer to brighten my under eye circles. Then, I set my face with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (Translucent).

Eyes, Face. For my eyebrows, I used Majolica Majorca Brow Customize in BR660 – this pencil is awesome and budge-proof.  I used MAC’s Utterly Becoming Paintpot for my base and then used Cafe (from Lorac Pro to Go) all over the lid. For my waterline, I used a little bit of Bobbi Brown’s Longwear Cream Eyeshadow in Bark then smudged Cafe to lighten it a bit. I really love the formula of the Fairydrops Platinum waterproof mascara now that it’s slightly dried up since it holds curl better than when I first opened it. I used Pink from the same Lorac palette as blush. fotd3_2 loraceyeshadow

Lips. I wore MAC Cosmo – it’s a creamy MLBB shade. It’s slightly hydrating on the lips because of its amplified finish.
