When I saw this photo on the account, my heart literally jumped. I am a self-confessed Origins baby guys. If you’ve been reading my blog, you know Origins is my favorite skincare brand. I’ve used their cleansers, moisturizer and masks. So I checked the date and time and I knew I was available for this event. So now the next thing is to register. I was able to send an email a few hours after the post went up on Instagram. I didn’t really get my hopes up because I thought I saw the post a little too late. And then I received an email from Marielle of Project Vanity team asking to confirm my attendance. YES!

20160521-DSC08794I got there before 2pm and there weren’t much attendees around yet but then again, they only had 10 slots so I know this will be a private function of some  sort. Yep, in the middle of SM Makati Beauty Section, but not really since Origins Store is in a very cozy but spacious corner. The first person who welcomed me was Sam who I learned was part of the Origins team. Then Den of Project Vanity approached me and surprisingly knew my name! Galing! Haha. She later said that she has been seeing my comments on Project Vanity since way back. Yep. Haha. We got to talk to Liz about random things and she asked how we find the new format of Project Vanity. There were positive feedback overall and I personally like the new format. So much more content. <3

I won’t go through all the details of the event since Angela was able to capture what happened in the event pretty well in this post. Great job, Angela! I’ll just post (lots of) photos and some highlights!

The EIC of Project Vanity, Ms. Liz Lanuzo, using the Super Spot Remover acne treatment gel on Kim’s face.

Food was provided by The Wholesome Table. The Spinach with Sun-dried Tomato dip was super good! I really liked the cold pressed juices as well, too bad I wasn’t able to take note of the name of the combo I liked.

20160521-DSC08797 20160521-DSC08795 20160521-DSC08796 Sam talked about the brand and asked for volunteers for each mask sampling. All throughout the program, she asked for four volunteers and I was hesitant at first but I knew I had to do it!

Sam talking about Origins’ newest product: The Maskimizer. It’s a primer that helps prepare your skin before using your mask. 20160521-DSC08813 20160521-DSC08814 20160521-DSC08822 20160521-DSC08826

Here, Sam is putting on By All Greens on Roie. It’s a foaming deep cleansing mask that activates a few minutes after putting it on. It was so cool watching it foam after a few seconds of putting it on our hands.

I also got to meet Niki who is also from Origins, she helped apply the  products on our hands so we could have a sample. Got to meet the rest of the participants as well and some of the contributors of Project Vanity.com. Yey to new friends! 🙂
