The Ordinary Preorder Batch 4

Hi guys!

The Ordinary has been receiving a lot of love for the past year for their inexpensive but effective skincare products. I am not in the position to rave about it yet since I’ve only used Buffet for 2 weeks. So far, so good for now. No allergic reactions whatsoever.

But I know how hard it is to get hold of these items since they’re not yet locally available in the Philippines. I found US and UK suppliers of most of The Ordinary items and decided to do preorders for it.

I have been doing preorders of the products since April 2017 and I have a preorder ongoing. You may visit my shopee account to check my legitimacy and ratings: https://shopee.ph/royalsunshine

You may also check my FB and IG account for proof of shipping:

Preorder Details:

  • Preorder deadline: June 25
  • Estimated arrival: July 20
  • Requirement: 50% deposit
  • I ship within the Philippines only.

Pricelist is found in the order form below:

Some of my bestsellers are:

  • Advanced Retinoid 2%
  • Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
  • Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
  • 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil
  • Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10%

Please do your research first before ordering because skincare is personal so each skin type will require or need different kind of product. I am not in the position to suggest what’s best for your skin type but I can suggest these articles and youtube videos that may help you decide on what to get:

FOTD: Too Faced Sweet Peach palette

Long time no post! My SephoraPH order arrived in less than 2 days so my Too Faced sweet peach palette  is now here. I was so excited for it since I was lemming for this for almost a year. I had the time to play with it yesterday and took too many photos so I thought I’d create a post here. I know my blog hasn’t been active for quite a while. So sorry but I will try to be more active!

I went to a food tasting yesterday and did a light everyday peach eye look and actually got a compliment from the person who took my order at Serenitea. But for the photos below, I took the time to upgrade the look and popped on some false lashes for photography purposes. Sayang naman ang makeup ko.

Face:

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea in Light Medium Neutral

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer Light Sand (undereye) and Light Medium

Hourglass Blush in Diffused Light

Nyx Baked Blush in Ignite (apples of the cheeks)

Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow Palette for highlight and a little bit of contour

Eyes:

Nars Pro Prime Eye primer

Too Faced Sweet peach palette

Benefit ka-brow! eyebrow cream cel 04

Benefit Gimme Brow brow gel 03

MAC Fluidline Gel in Past twilight

Red Cherry DW lashes

A little more detail on how I did my eyes:

After priming my eyes, I topped my lids with White Peach to remove the tackiness of the primer. I then used Peaches n Cream on my crease then added Georgia on top and mixed the two on my crease. Make sure to blend very well. On the lid, I used Just Peachy and topped it with Luscious on the center of the lid.  I used a combination of Tempting and Peach Pit to define my outer V. Then, I went back to my crease and used Candied Peach to give it a more peachy look. I popped Nectar on my inner corner and dragged it up to give me a more wide-eyed look. I used a brown liner and also smudged Peach Pit on my lower lashline. I lined my upper lashline with a dark brown gel liner and popped on some falsies from Red Cherry lashes in DW.

Lips:

Happy Skin Hold My Hand lippie stix

Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Blush

When I saw this photo on the account, my heart literally jumped. I am a self-confessed Origins baby guys. If you’ve been reading my blog, you know Origins is my favorite skincare brand. I’ve used their cleansers, moisturizer and masks. So I checked the date and time and I knew I was available for this event. So now the next thing is to register. I was able to send an email a few hours after the post went up on Instagram. I didn’t really get my hopes up because I thought I saw the post a little too late. And then I received an email from Marielle of Project Vanity team asking to confirm my attendance. YES! Continue reading My Origins Mask Party Experience

Product Empties #1

So I am going to start a series here in my blog called “Product Empties.” The post will be about any makeup or skincare item I use up. I will have a quick review on these items when I finish them. Since I have a lot of stuff, expect a post quarterly or maybe less often than that.  The only stuff that I finish up regularly is skincare so I’d only post if I have enough products to talk about. I hope you find this series useful.

Empties1_cover

I have 4 product empties for today:

Clinique Airbrush Concealer in Neutral Fair (20.50 USD or approx. 960php). I bought this concealer because of Julia from Blessmybag. I believe we  have the same skintone so I lean towards whatever she uses. She used this as an undereye concealer and it’s actually pretty good at that. The shade I got has a slightly pinky undertone that counteracts dark circles. Would I buy it again? No, just because I’ve used a cheaper alternative (aka Maybelline Fit me in 15 Fair) and it works just as good.

Dior Addict Lip Glow in 001 (33 usd or approx. 1,540 php). This is a very expensive lip balm. “The first universal balm by Dior reacts to the unique chemistry of each woman’s lips to give them a natural flush of custom pink that suits her skin tone. As if revived from within, lips are fresh, full and radiant. “ That’s according to the description box from Dior’s website. During daytime, it’s the first thing I apply in my makeup routine. It’s not too slippery and leaves my lips hydrated and prepped for whatever lip product I’d use that day. At night, I use it before I sleep and when I wake up, I always have plump and moisturized lips. Would I buy it again? No. I got this in a set that I bought in Incheon airport. I thought then I was getting it at a bargain. But then again, it’s lipbalm, Meg. It’s too expensive. 🙁 I get the same results with my Innisfree Lip Treatment and that’s 160php.

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask (17 USD, 50ml or approx. 793php). This thing is the bomb, okay? I really love it. It’s suppose to clear your pores as you leave it on to dry and wash it off your skin. My skin feels super soft every time I use this. I only had a deluxe (but very generous) size of this, 50ml but it really lasts a long time. I’ve used it once a week quite religiously and it lasted me for almost a year. Would I buy it again? YES.

Origins Modern Friction (20usd, 50ml or approx 934php). I love love this facial scrub. I  use it twice a week and it leaves my skin baby soft. This plus charcoal mask combo is seriously my holy grail cleansing combo especially when I am having pesky unwanted breakouts. Would I buy it again? Uhm, I already have a backup waiting to be opened. Hehe.

That’s all I have for this post! Until my next empties <3 That means I need to really start using up my stuff…

My MAC Lip Pencil Collection (Review and Swatches)

I’ve been on a lip pencil spree for the past 3 months already. I don’t even remember how this started because if I remember it correctly, I am not interested in lip pencils before. I find them useless. I guess watching beauty bloggers like Viviana and Lily changed my mind. They’ve been talking about MAC lip pencils for the past months and it got me interested in it again.

My first MAC lip pencil was Cherry which I got 2 years ago? I bought it together with MAC Red here in SM Aura. I thought I needed a red lip pencil to prevent my red lipsticks from bleeding. I also tried NYX lip pencils a few weeks back but didn’t like them because they were too dry. I thought, that’s it, I’m so done with these lip pencils.

Happy Skin Prints Made Pretty Lippies (Review and Swatches)

DSC07541 DSC07547 DSC07549

Hello everyone. I know, I know. I have not posted for 6 months. I was lazy and all because all I want to do during my idle time is sleep and lay in bed. Work has been stressing me out. It hasn’t improved but I am coping. Oh well.

Anyway, let’s get down to business. I am here with a new post about Happy Skin. It’s been a while since I last talked about their products on my blog.  If you’re a Happy Skin fan, by now, you should know that they released a matte version of their moisturizing lippie. The shades that I have here are from their tie up with Plains and Prints. Plains and Prints also release a clothing line with this collection.  Continue reading Happy Skin Prints Made Pretty Lippies (Review and Swatches)
